As investors re-evaluated the prospects for growth and monetary policy, the Dow Jones dropped by about 200 points on Monday, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq each dropped by nearly 1%.
While the Fed is scheduled to raise interest rates by 75 basis points for the fourth time on Wednesday, the ongoing earnings season has provided conflicting signals about the health of the world's largest economy.
