S&P 500 hits record high, Tesla record profit and revenue

As investors feel confident about strong earnings from U.S. companies, S&P 500 hits record high closing near 4,549 or up 0.3%


Tech firm HP and electric carmaker Tesla were some of the biggest winners, rising 6.9% and 3.3%, respectively.

Bitcoin: $62,580, plummeting 5.7% after recording and all-time high on Wednesday of $67,000


Tesla announced record profit and revenue late Wednesday for the third quarter.


Net income jumped 389% to $1.62 billion in July-September this year, the company’s revenue rose 57% to $13.8 billion.
