S&P 500: flat and almost unchanged at 4,682


Dow Jones: -0.04% or 13 points, closing at 36,087


Nasdaq: -0.04% or 7 points, closing at 15,853


VIX volatility index: +2.8% to 16.75


U.S. dollar index: +0.43% to 95.54


10-year Treasury notes yield: +2.8% to 1.628%


Precious metals down


Gold: -0.12% to $1,862 per ounce


Silver: -1% to $25.09 per ounce


Oil prices mixed


Brent crude: -0.16% to $82.04 per barrel


West Texas Intermediate: +0.1% to $79.76 per barrel


Bitcoin down 0.7% to $63,720


European stock markets higher


With exports in the EU rising 13.5% January-September year-on-year, according to Eurostat, European stock markets closed higher on Monday. Four indices at fresh records.

STOXX Europe 600: +0.35% or 1.68 points at new all-time high, 488.43

FTSE 100 in London: +0.05% or 3.85 points, at 7,351

DAX 30 in Germany: +0.34% or 54 points, at 16,148

CAC 40 in France: +0.53% or 37 points, at 7,128

FTSE MIB 30: best performer of the day.

IBEX 35 in Spain: +0.16% or 14 points, at 9,095
