London, Friday, 26 August 2022
Prior to Fed Chair Powell's highly anticipated address at the Jackson Hole symposium later in the afternoon, which may give further hints about the Fed's plans for interest rates, European futures on Friday showed little movement.
In the meantime, a GfK research revealed that consumer confidence in Germany hit a record low as September began, worse than expected.
Data on consumer confidence are also expected today for France and Italy.
Major European market indexes are expected to decline by close to 2% for the week.
